L'oreal professionnel salon owners go digital with google L'Oreal Professionnel Salon Owners Go Digital with Google L'Oreal Professionnel recently invited salon owners to Go Digital with Google, as they launched a pioneering digital course in association with the all-encompassing online gurus. Hosted at the world-famous Google London offices, the course was created to help salon owners and managers navigate the ever-changing digital landscape and boost their presence online through a series of practical examples and insider insights. Google strategic partner manager Ed Ackerman opened the three-hour session with a look at consumer search trends - what exactly your clients are searching for and how you can maximise your presence in their search results. Next to present were Michael Bullion, director of digital, and Simon Elliott, digital business development manager, both from Hibu. Focussing on the brand's philosophy of 'being seen, being found and being chosen', they shared compelling insights that salon owners could incorporate to ensure their online presence was optimised for mobile, relevant for search and consistent. A lengthy Q&A session followed, with salon owners receiving invaluable personalised advice to help their businesses boom online. The session conclucded with the opportunity to network over cheese and wine in Google's famous library (above) with breathtaking views across London and plenty of inspiring topics of conversation.
