L’oréal professionnel hosts instant highlights creation day L’Oréal Professionnel invited Hairdressers Journal to its instant highlights creative content day to watch 26 of its leading partner salons create signature looks using the brand's new Instant Highlighting Tool. The Instant Highlights colour service, which launches in February is divided into four key looks – Instant Highlights, Instant Contouring, Instant Revive and Instant Pop. The aim of the new express service is to attract clients who are tempted to try a new shade but don't want to commit to spending hours in a salon. The exclusive Instant Highlighting Tool cuts the time it takes to apply colour by half (approximately 30 minutes compared to an hour). Brooks & Brooks hairdresser Grace Dalgleish created an Instant Pop look (pictured above). She used the Instant Highlighting Tool to add permanent blonde highlights and placed L’Oréal Professionnel's new Shimmering Fuchsia shade over the top. Once each hairdresser finished their key look for the day, they were invited to create shareable content ranging from a professional photoshoot to creating a faux magazine front cover and moving gifs that can all be shared on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and throughout the blogosphere.
