The L’Oréal Professional Products Division is pleased to announce a new partnership with Mary Portas in the future direction of its Salon Emotion programme for 2016.
The Salon Emotion programme aims to reinvent the salon industry and support the development of hairdressing in the UK and Ireland. The programme looks to modernise salons, improve the client experience and facilitate salons to help themselves boost their business potential. As a leading authority in the UK on retail and brand communications, Mary Portas will act as both a consultant and ambassador for the initiative, informing the approach of the programme and also amplifying the project as a media spokesperson.
Salon Emotion is a unique transformation programme based on three key drivers: personalised advice, guidance to modernise salons and assistance in facilitating finances to help business activation.
Omar Hajeri, managing director of L’Oréal Professional Products Division UK & Ireland comments: “Salon Emotion is a great initiative in itself but will benefit even further from the specific retail and brand specialism from Mary Portas and her additional consultancy. We believe that this partnership will take the project to the next level in terms of expertise and visibility. The idea is to help re-enchant clients’ emotional journey through the salon by improving the quality of service and space. As a leader in the professional market, we have a responsibility to help the market to grow and raise both awareness and standards of salons across the UK and Ireland.”
Mary comments: “Salon Emotion is a great way to help salons make the most of their businesses. I believe that by working together with the L’Oréal Professional Products Division, we can help to reinvigorate the salon industry and reinforce the importance that salons have on the High Street.”
The L’Oréal Professional Products Division’s Salon Emotion project in partnership with Mary Portas will commence from March 2016.
