Monday 5 June, 2017 saw the L’Oréal Colour Trophy Grand Final take place at Battersea Evolution, London, celebrating excellence in hairdressing across the UK . TV & Radio presenter Nick Grimshaw hosted the evening taking the audience on an exciting hair inspired journey ending with the announcement of this year’s winner of the coveted trophy.
Linton and Mac seized the 2017 L’Oréal Colour Trophy, while Brooks & Brooks were awarded second place and Simon Webster Hair scooped third place.
The highly anticipated L’Oréal Professionnel Men’s Image Award was won by The Social, London, with Brooks & Brooks, London runner-up in this category.

The L'Oréal Professional Star Award went to Harriet Stokes from Not Another Salon, London, while The Afro Look Award went to Nashwhite, Leamington Spa.
The Grand Final also featured catwalk shows from some of the industry’s leading talent. The Expression of Colour Collective showbrought together a team of six leading female colourists to showcase the new vibrant colour range #COLORFULHAIR by L’Oréal Professionnel. The show featured modern technology fused with stunningly crafted colour and inspirational hair styling. The colour collective team was made up of the following talented colourists; Siobhan Jones from Headmasters, Skyler McDonald from Skyler London, MJ Farmer from Rush Hair & Beauty, Andria Kaisharis from Fowler35, Sarah Clarke-Lees from SAKS and Grace Dalgleish from Brooks & Brooks.
The Toni & Guy International Art Team stunned in the second show of the evening, called Elements. Incorporating the world’s natural elements with new technology, experimenting and manipulating hair, the team delivered awe-inspiring avant-garde creations, whilst drawing upon their long standing fashion heritage incorporating high fashion couture designer pieces.
