The team from Jamie Stevens salon were crowned overall winners of the L'Oreal Colour Trophy 2014, in a glittering ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
TV presenter Caroline Flack hosted the competition, which also saw winners recognised for Men's and Afro looks. The People's Choice category celebrated the most popular look as voted for by Facebook fans, and finally the Young Colourist award saw eight talented newcomers make their mark. They will now become part of the Colour Academy; a comprehensive colour education programme.
Keeping the inspiration coming, the night also saw inspiring shows from a host of hairdressing's leading names. Ireland's Dylan Bradshaw presented sculptural, gothic looks, while Seanhanna creative director Skyler McDonald wowed with colourful editorial collection.
And, further cementing L'Oreal's mantra of Hair Inspired by Fashion, the evening saw six of hairdressing's top teams present short films showcasing stunning catwalk-inspired creations. Richard Ward, TONI&GUY, Charles Worthington, Rush, Trevor Sorbie and Daniel Galvin presented diverse, directional looks including spray-painted skulls and shrink-wrapped plastic styles.
