Bianca Tuovi created a beautiful bug's ball for the Sophia Webster Spring/Summer 2014 show at London Fashion Week.
Show: Sophia Webster
Stylist: Bianca Tuovi for Bumble and bumble
The inspiration: An insect's slumber party
The look: Plaits sticking away from the head to form 'antennae' - each look was slightly different because, Bianca said, "all bugs are individuals."

Get the look: Hair was prepped with Bumble and bumble Prep, Brilliantine, Colour Minded Styling Balm and Sumo Wax and styled into a super-clean centre parting. Hair was then parted from ear to ear, with the front section styled in two pigtails.
Models then tipped their heads upside down and hair was plaited in two braids along the scalp, working towards the bunches in the front section and eventually joining together.
Florist's wire was then inserted into the braids to make them stick up and away from the head. Each of the braids was folded in half and wrapped with elastic at the base to create 'antennae' of about 3" in height. A pre-prepared 'ball' of hair (polystyrene craft balls sprayed to match the hair and wrapped in hair) was then poked into the ends to create the insect shape. Hair was then finished with plenty of Does it All.
