London fashion week spring/summer 2014: mary katrantzou

Anthony Turner created hair bubbles for the Mary Katrantzou Spring/Summer 2014 show at London Fashion Week. Show: Mary Katrantzou Stylist: Anthony Turner for L'Oreal Professionnel The inspiration: Mary's collection features lots of high-neck collars so hair had to work with this but, for the first time in the designer's history, hair was worn down. The look: A 'bubble' of hair caught above the collar in a shape that Anthony described as a 'balloon'. For girls that didn't have collars in their outfits, a band was wrapped around the neck and removed at the last minute to make it look as though their hair had been tucked in their top. Get the look: Prep hair with L'Oreal Professionnel Tecni.Art Pli and blow-dry in. Once dry, create a rough centre parting and wrap the band around before pulling out pieces of hair the front for a slightly disheveled finish. Finish with Fix Anti-Frizz Hairspray.
