Halley Brisker was inspired by The Virgin Suicides for the Markus Lupfer Spring/Summer 2014 show at London Fashion Week.

The inspiration: The Virgin Suicides. Girls with beautiful hair who are constantly being asked how they do it, only to reply that they do nothing with it; it just looks like that.

The look: Beautifully clean, healthy hair that looks as though it has absolutely nothing in it. Each model was treated as an individual, so partings were varied depending on what suited them best and some had hair tucked behind an ear or pinned back - Halley was keen to stress that it really was about individuality and not about laborious steps and procedures; he told his team that once the hair looked good, to stop and step away.

Get the look: Hair was prepped with Bumble and bumble Bb Prep and Thickening Spray, and a little Surf Spray if they had greasy hair. Products were blow-dried in and brushed through to leave hair looking clean and untouched. Before models walked, Halley added DIY hair clips made from diamantes in the collection to some girls, adding a personalised tweak to each girl.
