Panos Papandrianos and the Wella Professionals team created a style dubbed the 'perfect ponytail' for the Temperley London Spring/Summer 2012 collection.Inspiration: Designer Alice Temperley wanted the perfect ponytail, inspired by Grace Kelly's classic, clean-cut style and high society 1950s glamour.
Get the look:
Apply Wella Professionals Velvet Amplifier to damp hair and blow-dry section-by-section, ensuring the hair is as smooth and straight as possible.
Divide the hair into two sections, keeping the front of the hair separate. Apply Rugged Fix at the roots and comb back in to a ponytail.
Focussing on the front section of the hair, repeat the above ensuring all hair is smoothed down and secure using using a rubber band over the existing ponytail.
Spray Super Set all over the ponytail to give extra hold. Brush the ponytail through and tong small sections to create a slight curl at the end of the ponytail. Finish with another spritz of Super Set.
Not all the models had their hair curled - Alice wanted each of the 34 girls to be an individual so those with straight hair were left with their natural texture.
