London fashion week spring/summer 2012: aquascutum

Paul Hanlon and the L'Oréal Professionnel team created a sport, low-slung ponytail for the Aquascutum Spring/Summer 2012 collection at London Fashion Week.
Inspiration: Reflecting the luxurious qualities of this heritage outdoors brand, ponytails were sporty with a groomed finish.
Get the look: L'Oréal Professionnel tecni.art Texture Expert Mousse Volupte was worked through the hair then blow-dried to add shine and hold, with added Texture Expert Shine Perfection Serum worked through the mid-lengths.
Hair was then tonged for a gentle soft wave and combed back from the face with the fingers. A tiny amount of tecni.art Metallic Gloss was added to the roots for shine and separation then hair was set back from the face with pin curl clips and sprayed with Infinium 4 Hairspray. Hair was blow-dried then the process was repeated.
Once totally set, clips were removed and the lengths were gathered in to a low-slung ponytail, casually looped back on itself as if the model had tied it herself.
