London fashion week autumn/winter 2013: ones to watch

Efi Davies created twisted ponytails for the Ones to Watch show at London Fashion Week.

The inspiration: Sleek and clean but with a fun element.
The look: A deep side parting from the front, with hair secured into a low ponytail at the back - with added twisted sections worked in to bring an element of surprise to the back view.
Get the look: Hair was prepped with label.m Volume Mousse and blow-dried flat to the head from a deep side parting.
Once dry, a triangle section was taken across the head with the remaining section underneath tied off in a ponytail.
The top section was then twisted back in two sections, before being tied into the original ponytail and secured with Extra Strong Hairspray and Shine Spray.
The twisted sections were clamped between irons to make them stick up and add a slightly hard texture to contrast with the silky smooth tail.

The gossip: VV Brown was guest of honour, but after tweeting that she was running late ended up standing up at the back.
