Show: Vivienne Westwood

Stylist: Sam Hillerby for L'Oreal Professionnel

Inspiration: Slightly androgynous, rockabilly style. Girl gangs mixed with the railway children.

The look: Curls, quiffs and texture.

Get the look: Hair was prepped with L'Oreal Professionnel Play Ball Texture Tonic to add guts and Infinium hairspray for hold

Hair was then tonged randomly with a wand to create curls of varying sizes then brushed through to loosen for an airy, textured feel.

Hair was then raked up with the fingers at the sides, bringing the hair up at the sides on top of the head with the curls tightly pinned and the ends left loose.

The back of the hair was secured in a French pleat, leaving the ends to add volume at the top.

Key products: L'Oreal Professionnel Infinium Hairspray, Play Ball Texture Tonic

The gossip: The  ponytail band was wrapped with hair to complete the groomed, New York-inspired style.
