Show: Temperley
Stylist: Malcolm Edwards for L'Oreal Professionnel
Inspiration: Julie Christie in Dr Zhivago. As though she has been to Harrods for a blow-dry and then decided she wants to put her hair up.
The look: Seriously big, 1960s-inspired updos. A play on the chignon but with more texture and a looser finish.
Get the look: Hair was taken into a middle parting and then sectioned into three - two parts framing the face and then a section in the middle which was used to form the height.
The two face framing sections were smoothed using L'Oreal Professionnel Mythic Oil for a smooth finish and then taken around to the back of the head, covering the ears and secured with a silicone band.
The third section is covered with L'Oreal Professionnel Playball Texture Tonic and Tecni Art Volume Lift. The hair was then really teased from the root, then divided into two and rope braided.
The rope braids were then twisted into the centre and secured with two large chignon pins. This gives the shape an almost baggy feeling. The overall look is finished with a spray of Tecni Art Sparkling Mist.
Models wearing fur hats were given a tight, sleek bun.
Key products: L'Oreal Professionnel Texture Tonic, Sparkling Gloss, Air Fix, Volume Lift
The gossip: Royal rumours - would the Middleton sisters make it two seasons front row?
