Show: Michael van der Ham
Stylist: Luke Hersheson for L'Oreal Professionnel
Inspiration: A modern take on 1950s, Veronica Lake waves.
The look: Classic Hollwood waves but rather than being airy and flowing, it's 'baked' to create a solid mass of hair that moves as one rather than individual waves.
Get the look: Hair was prepped with Pli to add guts and malleability, with Constructor used to protect from heat and help set the style.
Hair was then tightly curled all over in small sections with a 19mm wand, with curls pinned to the head to set. Once cooled, curls were brushed out with a round brush and dryer to create a fluffy, soft wave.
Fix Design was sprayed liberally all over to set the style, with waves backbrushed slightly underneath to create a solid 'cloud' of hair which moved as one piece as the models walked.
Key products: L'Oreal Professionnel Pli, Fix Design and Constructor and a 19mm tong.
The gossip: It was all hands on deck when a model arrived late with a full head of braids and plaited hairpieces from a previous show.
