Show: Margaret Howell
Stylist: Neil Moodie for Bumble and bumble
Inspiration: The Margaret Howell girl grows up
The look: The Margaret Howell girl is always natural, effortless and beautiful but this season she's grown up slightly and has more of a 'look'.
Low side ponytails were order of the day - they look simple and fuss-free, but there's been a conscious decision to wear the hair on display. "I'm putting my hair here because I want it here," was the thought process that Neil explained.
Some models wore wintry caps with bobbles, so a side pony also ensured the hair could be seen.
Get the look: Bb Prep and Styling Lotion were applied then hair was dried with a diffuser to enhance natural texture. Models with shorter hair were also given a few extensions.
A large curling iron was used to loosely tong the hair - just enough to look as though the air had got to it, Neil said.
Hair was then brushed through by hand into a low side parting, worn on the left or right depending on what suited the model best.
Key products: Bb Prep, Styling Lotion, Brilliantine
The gossip: Would queen of Margaret Howell cool, Alexa Chung, make the 9am show start time?
