London fashion week autumn/winter 2012: emilio de la morena

Show: Emilio de la Morena

Stylist: Chi Wong for Wella Professionals

Inspiration: Effortless chic - "the hair all girls want to have".

The look: Freshly washed, soft, organic waves.

Get the look: Hair was washed then prepped with leave-in conditioner to create softness and manageability. Mousse was then added to damp hair and blasted through, smoothing out by hand rather than with a brush.

Hair was then put in a natural centre parting and tonged in randomly-sized sections with a 35mm tong, with each curl pinned to the head to cool. Hair was only loosely tonged through the mid lengths and ends to prevent any root lift.

Once cool, curls were shaken out and misted with hairspray and serum to smooth out slightly.

Models with shorter hair had the texture enhanced but otherwise left natural with no extensions as Chi wanted to maintain their individuality.

Key products: Wella Professionals SP Shampoo, Elegant Shape mousse, Perfect Hold hairspray, Satin Polish and a 35mm tong

The gossip: The brief of beautiful freshly-washed hair meant lashings of SP Shampoo to get over-styled models' hair squeaky clean.
