Stylist: Jonny Engstrom for L'Oreal Professionnel

Inspiration: Berlin Brutal

The look: A street-inspired textured look - almost as if the girl has gone out with wet hair topped off with a beanie hat. Jonny and the L'Oreal Professionnel Portfolio Team were briefed with no glossy hair.

With 20 student collections, the look had to be simple and work with each collection.

Get the look: Hair was prepped with Pli and Volume Architect and twisted through. Hair was then blow-dried and left to cool slightly and shaken through with fingers.

Large sections from the nape were then very lightly curled with a tong to create a 'buckle' in the hair rather than a wave or curl. Each section was shaken out again to loosen the curl.

Hair was then dressed with Super Dust from root to tip to remove any shine and keep a matte, flat finish.

To add extra texture, the palm was placed on top of the head with the other hand used to brush up baby hairs.

Key products: Tecni.Art Pli, Super Dust and Volume Architect.

The gossip: Jonny and the team had 45 models to style in total - a record for this season's fashion week?
