The TONI&GUY team created 1920s-inspired side-parted waves for the E. Tautz Men's show at the Spring/Summer 2013 London Collections.
Show: E. Tautz
Stylist: Pinar Necati and the TONI&GUY Session Team

Inspiration: The hair was inspired by 20th century Etonian boxer-come-desert-traveller, Sir Wilfred Thesiger - a 1920's side parted charm with a groomed but lived-in movement- finger waved with a dry and dusty desert texture.
The collection: Referencing the English explorer Sir Wilfred Thesiger there are elements of quintessential Brit tailoring and 20th century expeditions with the use of cotton poplins and linens. Nods to Ethiopia with medal ribbons and the 1980's Manchester rave scene through vibrant acid brighta in fuchsia, cobalt and yellow.

The look: "Etonian explorer"
Get the look: Spray label.m Sea Salt Spray through dry damp hair and comb into a side parting.
Create movement through the front section using a finger wave technique- use a comb to brush the hair forward, hold in place and brush back away from your fingers creating an S-shape wave in the hair.
Dry the hair using a diffuser to set the wave in place without disturbing the shape. Spray with label.m Dry Shampoo and lightly shake through with fingers to create a dry summer texture.
Run through with matte paste.
Key products: label.m Sea Salt Spray, Dry Shampoo and Matte Paste.
