Top UK Colourist,
Lisa Shepherd will be the new Hair Colour Expert on the hit Channel 4 makeover series,
Ten Years Younger.

The programme, hosted by Nicky Hambleton-Jones, uses a panel of experts in the beauty, hair and cosmetic industries to improve the appearance of the featured women, taking years off them!
British Hairdresser of the Year Andrew Barton already styles the participants' hair as part of the transformation, and now Lisa will also play her part by changing their colour.Sarah Trigg, Series Producer says “We are now in Series 5 and we wanted to add an extra element to the show.
Hair colour is a major factor in your overall look and we really felt this area needed an expert to show just what a difference it makes and also give tips and advice to viewers”
Lisa Shepherd, the three times winner of British Colourist of the Year, is one of the country’s leading colourists and is affectionately known as “the hair colour doctor” for her ability to tackle even the worst hair colour disaster.
She says: “I love hair colour, I always treat every client as a colour correction and although I do keep an eye on trends, my job is to make each colour look right for the person in front of me.
"The wrong hair colour can literally add years onto your age and often people have the wrong hair colour for years as they are just used to what they see in the mirror and don’t know what to change it to”.
Filming for series five, which will be aired in the new year, starts at the end of October, but Lisa is remaining tight-lipped about the transformations.
“I am really looking forward to working with Andrew (Barton) and Nicky (Hambleton-Jones) but more so I am looking forward to getting my hands on the makeovers and showing viewers just how much difference the right colour can make when combined with all the other elements of the show”
