Leonardo rizzo wows at the indola roadshow
The exclusive Hilton Brighton Metropole Hotel was the setting for the Brighton leg of the Indola Cutting and Colouring Roadshow with top stylist Leonardo Rizzo.
The show kicked off with fabulous catwalk looks created by the Sanrizz Art Team, first seen at the Alternative Hair Show earlier in the year. The asymmetric bowl cuts were brought to life with futuristic rubber leotards, black wrap-around visors and long black boots.
Global ambassador for Indola, Leonardo, took to the stage with educator Sharon Cox and stylist Craig Saunders.
Three looks were created that incorporated precision cutting techniques with futuristic elements. The styles featured sported colours such as bold liquorice, crisp coppers and berry reds.
Sharon gave some insight into the Sanrizz cutting style. "We use a technique called Neo Geo which is our name for new geometric cutting, working and cutting in diagonal lines and taking triangular sections of the hair," she said.
The second on-stage demonstration featured hair pieces that were attached to existing styles to create unusual disconnected looks.
"We add coloured lengths, sometimes with 2-tone colour to give clients a daring or exotic look for a night out," said Leonardo.
The daring 'dos are clearly on trend as these two-in-one looks were achieved just days before Lady Gaga was seen sporting a similar style. The attached lengths were snipped in artistic curves or given oomph with backcombing techniques.
With a mix of catwalk looks, cutting techniques, vibrant colour combinations and futuristic goth and neon bright fashions, hip haunt Brighton was the perfect place for the Indola Roadshow to roll up and show off its talents.
