Last week in the life of the my hji community

It's been a busy week on the My HJi forum and one name has kept recurring: that of Girl's Aloud stunner Sarah Harding, who's clearly decide to take one for the team and deflect the spotlight from her bandmate Cheryl. It's fair to say that you've been horrified by Miss Harding's somewhat alarming ummm 'mop' of curls. Equally alarming is the fact there's been a love-in for Jade Goody (yes, you read that right, a love-in for Jade). Flower is well impressed with her new on-trend fringe and classy (am I pushing it now?) colour. Moving back to the Girls Aloud lovely, her curly-wurly do has sparked a bit of a debate about the return of the perm. Is it really back in your salons - and for that matter will crimping really find its way off the catwalk and onto the highstreet? The blonde bombshell has also been nominated for the 'My HJi Best Tressed List' - but then so has Farah Fawcett so perhaps you guys aren't taking our very prestigious list quite as seriously as I am! If you've got a serious - or not so serious, for that matter - nomination for the list, please do make your voice heard. In more serious business, Ruth H - yes, our very own Ruth Hunsley - has commented on quite how busy it is at the moment; not just in the HJ office, but among all the hairdressers she has spoken to recently. She's looking for advice on the best ways to handle all that stress. Answers on a postcard - scrap that, answers on the forum to.... Elsewhere x.lois.x asks 'how gorg are these scissors?' She'd rather like a pair. So if anyone has a spare bob or two - and with all that work you must be raking it in! - and is feeling generous drop her a line. And trainee hairdresser Pat is looking for feedback on his entry for the 2008 Birmingham Training Academy Hairdresser of the Year. Let him know what you think - all compliments and constructive criticism welcome. Can't finish without pointing out that the TIGI Bedhead for Men models - including these beautiful creatures - are also there to be admired. I know we put them there so they don't really count, but surely they're worth another look...
