Ladies lead the fashion pack at gq men of the year awards
I was lucky enough to be at the GQ Men of the Year Awards in London last night where the ladies certainly gave the men a run for their fashionable money. Leading the femme fatales was Lily Allen, who looked stunning in a flowing black Chanel dress perfectly complemented by a Louise Brooks-inspired glossy bob.
She was closely followed by Amanda Holden who wowed the crowd in her asymmetric sapphire gown and voluminous updo. In fact updos were a favourite with the celebrites - Daisy Lowe's Bridgette Bardot-inspired 'do was sexy yet demure. However, many played it safe with long, soft layers and waves.
And it wasn't just the girls who donned their gladrags - Do Who alter ego Matt Smith swapped his geeky Dr Who persona for a sexy quiff, while Ed Westwick looked dapper with his sleek, slick style.
