La biosthetique get organic seal of approval

La Biosthetique is the first haircare company to receive the Ecocert stamp of approval for its new Natural Cosmetic range.

The hair and beauty range was launched to press this week at La Biosthetique's head office in the city of Paris, where directeur general France Peter Hitzler explained the process the company had to go through to receive the certification.

As well as using certified organic ingredients the company also had to abide by rules on transportation, processes, machinery used and recycling.

In addition to the products - which retail from £15.95 to £29.95 - salons can also offer their clients a range of prescriptive rituals at the backwash for the ultimate pampering experience.

Journalists on the trip were treated to a true taste of France with a lavish lunch at L'Avenue, the chicest restaurant in the city - where they had the added bonus of bumping into hairdressing legend John Frieda.
