Hairdresser Ky 'Cut' Wilson has created a limited-edition range of vintage clipper necklace designs, each handmade with a one-off, upcycled clipper blade.
The perfect present for the barber in your life, the designs come packaged in the original clipper box, wrapped with original 1950s newspapers. The first batch of 25 designs will also include a hair appointment token for a cut with Ky himself.
The idea for the necklaces came about when Ky couldn't bring himself to part with a broken set of clippers. He strung them on a chain, and his signature trademark accessory was born.
Ky says: "Every single necklace is unique. The packaging, the blade... they have incredible imperfections and I love this. Knowing each individual clipper has its own history from all those years ago just excites me. It’s a story from the past and now I can share it.
"I have a real love for the history of hairdressing, so it was only right I created the necklace from an old-school hair clipper. I received the first one, packaged in its original box, and opened it to find original paper instructions on how to use them with hair still stuck to the oil on the clipper blade. Knowing each individual clipper has its own story from all those years ago just excites me."
The first batch of clipper necklaces is now available to pre-order. Visit
