Errol Douglas created bohemian beauties with asymmetric fluffy curls at the Kristian Aadnevik Autumn/Winter 2014 show.
The show: Kristian Aadnevik Autumn/Winter 2014
The hair team: UK and Ireland Ambassador for Moroccanoil, Errol Douglas
The look: Soft, floaty curls with a glossy, asymmetric finish and plenty of sexy movement when the models walk
The inspiration: Late 70s, early 80s bohemian
The key product: Moroccanoil Heat Styling Protection
Get the Look
1. Prep the hair with Moroccanoil Treatment and work Volumising Mousse through from the roots, brushing in with a paddle brush. Blast dry.
2. Starting at the nape of the neck, take two-inch sections of hair at a time and saturate with Moroccanoil Heat Styling Protection.
3. Don't brush the hair through; run the section between your fingers to rub the product in but without removing hair's natural texture.
4. Wrap around a large Cloud Nine Wand, ensuring it is facing down and that you are wrapping the hair in that direction to create a looser, freer curl. For afro or coarser hair types, spray with Luminous Hairspray Strong before you release the curl to add extra hold and shine.
5. Wrap the curl back up and pin in place. Work across the entire head, taking the same two-inch sections each time and ensuring all the curls go in the same direction for an asymmetric end result.
6. Spray all of the hair with Luminous Hairspray Strong, then release all the pins and loosen the curls.
7. Brush through with a dressing brush just before the models walk to create a bouncy mane of curls, swept over to one side for a slightly asymmetric, but still free, finish.
