The team at KJM salon in Fleet, Hampshire recently held a cut-a-thon to raise money for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research UK.
The team aimed to do as many haircuts as possible in five hours with all proceeds going to the charity.
The event was inspired by Charlotte Duncan, the daughter-in-law of a regular client, who was diagnosed with Leukaemia on Christmas Eve 2013, aged just 25.
Said salon owner Kerry Mather: “Charlottes mother-in-law has been a client for 15 years and myself and the whole team wanted to do something to help this young lady and the charity.
Through cutting hair and a very successful raffle the KJM team raised £4,200! This is an incredible achievement and just goes to show that when we put our mind to something anything is possible.”
