Kim k's controversial new hair

Kim k's controversial new hair Kim K's new hair might be about to boost your colour sales. Yes, really. Throughout the pandemic, clients were unable to access hair services, and as a result, some decided to embrace their natural colour and ditched the dye altogether. Unfortunately, when salons were able to reopen, some of us found that our most loyal bleach babes were no longer lining up for their full head of highlights, and colour services dipped. However, that might be about to change, with a new, low-maintenance trend emerging. Is it time the hair industry welcomed dark roots with open arms? Leading the troops is none other than Kim Kardashian, who earlier this year broke the hearts of hair colourists everywhere when she went from dark to bleach blonde in one sitting – blasphemy in salon circles. Whilst her Met Gala look received some criticism online for its brassy appearance and lack of even tone, over recent months the social media mogul perfected the look… that was until she started stepping out with a significant amount of dark root on show. https://www.instagram.com/p/CiVyK0QPgG7/ When Kim K bleached her hair back in 2017, she opted for a subtle centre root smudge before reverting fully back to brunette. This time around, the star appears to be switching it up with a chunkier regrowth a la grunge. Kim K's new hair isn't unique – Dua Lipa and Margot Robbie are also fans of a dark root. Is Margot Robbie's hair similar to Kim K's new hair? With figures such as these making regrowth look desirable, clients that were reluctant to return to the high-upkeep life of a full-blonde look may be willing to reconsider their options. It’s worth noting that if your clients don’t like Kim K's new hair trend, there are still plenty of other colour services that you can offer – balayage has consistently been one of the most popular colour trends throughout 2022, and provides a much more natural effect.
