Kevin murphy cycles from london to paris in aid of breast cancer charity coppafeel Kevin Murphy has taken members of the team on a 350-mile cycle from London to Paris. The mission? To raise money for breast cancer awareness charity CoppaFeel. After months of training, fundraising and saddle sore, the KEVIN.MURPHY team have raised a total of over £44,000 so far.  Starting in London, the team will begin their journey of a lifetime that will see them cycle up to 8 hours a day and will end only when they reach the Champ Elysees in Paris on 19 May. CoppaFeel is a breast cancer awareness charity that encourages women to check their breasts for the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, with the aim of stamping out late detection and increasing survival rates.  KEVIN.MURPHY sales director Mark Shorrock is the front-runner leading the Lycra clad crusaders to Paris and commented: "CoppaFeel is such a great charity to support and we’ve been working with them to raise money through our UK salons for some time now.  This challenge is mainly about raising money but also we hope it raises awareness of their great work too." He added: "I love that CoppaFeel strikes the balance between doing a really serious and important job at the same time as communicating it’s message in a fun and engaging way that catches people’s attention, breaks taboos and gets people talking." Although Mark freely admits that wearing Lycra and cycling 8 hours a day isn’t a usual pass time for him or his fellow volunteers, the team are all excited and delighted to be taking on one of Europe’s greatest cycling challenges all in aid of supporting CoppaFeel. The Pedal to Paris will pass through the picturesque English countryside, cross the channel at Portsmouth and continue through the quaint little villages of Northern France.  It will no doubt involve some strenuous hills climbs, long days in the saddle and sights such as the Eiffel Tower.
