Kent Brushes recently set up a temporary home at none other than Buckingham Palace, after being invited to exhibit at The Coronation Festival.
Hosted to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Queen's coronation, the four-day festival saw brands with Royal Warrants invited to showcase their innovation and excellence.
Kent, which was established in 1777 and which has held a Royal Warrant through nine reigns, displayed three silver-banded brushes which were specially designed for the occasion, as well as brushes and artefacts celebrating their 236 year history.
The stand even received some royal visitors, as Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice took time to stop by and visit.
Marcia Cosby, director at Kent Brushes said: "For us at Kent Brushes the Royal Warrant signifies two things; firstly a great honour - we are proud that the company has been the chosen brush maker of the Royal Households since 1834 and secondly, longevity, showing the historical significance of what has always been and will remain a brand rooted in British culture.
"The Coronation Festival was a unique and prestigious event which we definitely wanted Kent to be part of. We hoped to unite with other Royal Warrant holders to share stories, whilst also gaining more recognition for Kent and the prestigious accolade we’ve been bestowed for so long. It was a wonderful occasion and we were proud to be involved."
