Kao salon division announces isana kontsevaya to lead emea region

Kao Salon Division has announced the appointment of Isana Kontsevaya to the role of vice president, Salon Commercial, EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) and member of the global executive salon leadership team. The company, which is part of the Kao Corporation, is home to professional hair brands such as Goldwell, KMS, Oribe and Varis, which offer professional products and services to stylists around the world. Isana is joining the Kao group with a range of experience in the salon business, having served in executive roles for the Wella brand under various ownership entities. As part of her tenure, Kontsevaya successfully led the sales organisation in the UK and Ireland and consequently commercial transformation globally. Prior to her work in the salon industry, she had also proven her expertise in other fast moving consumer goods categories and built a foundation for distributor operations in Eastern Europe. “We are confident that Isana’s experience in leading large-scale salon sales organisations, with high volume and impressive growth, together with her extensive track record of leadership in the areas of go-to-market plan development, capabilities, innovation and transformation, will serve the organisation well during our crisis recovery process and in the long term,” says Cory Couts, global president, Kao Salon Division. “In these unprecedented times I am honoured and excited to join highly reputable Kao Corporation.
