Anthony Turner was inspired by Virginia Woolf at the JW Anderson Autumn/Winter 2014 show, creating ponytails with an erratic touch.
The show: JW Anderson Autumn/Winter 2014
The hair team: Anthony Turner for L'Oreal Professionnel
The look: Ponytails with a low side parting and a fluffy, matte texture
The inspiration: Virginia Woolf - a simple and quite restrained look with slightly eccentric and erratic nuances to add a bit of edge.
The key product: L'Oreal Professionnel Full Volume Extra Mousse
Get the look
1. Prep hair with L'Oreal Professionnel Tecni.Art Pli and Full Volume Extra Mousse to create a matte texture.
2. Style hair in a low side parting and pull hair across to create a sweeping fringe. Press a slight bend into the fringe.
3. Pull the rest of the hair into a low, natural ponytail and secure with a plain black elastic.
4. Backcomb the lengths of the hair slightly to encourage a fluffy finish with a slightly dusty feel.
