Just cuts prepares to reopen uk salons following success in new zealand and australia International salon chain Just Cuts, which has locations in Australia, New Zealand and the UK, are prepared to welcome clients back in the salon in England. The group’s salons based in Australia and New Zealand were voluntarily closed for one month and upon reopening clients couldn’t wait for their first regular haircut in weeks - the lead image shows the queue of clients waiting to have their hair tended to in New Zealand. One eager client even camped outside her local salon in Queenstown, New Zealand, to guarantee she would be first for her post-quarantine haircut. To keep clients safe as they open up their six UK salons this July salon owners have implemented guidelines to follow when they open their doors. “We’ve made considerable alterations to our standard operations, by encouraging card payments and providing our salon owners with PPE and marketing collateral to effectively communicate these restrictions,” says David Mathie, UK general manager for Just Cuts. “We’ll also be paying significant attention to our cleaning regimes, enforcing daily deep-cleaning and sterilising stations between every appointment. Adapting to these new rules is certainly going to be challenging for our salon Owners but crucial for the longevity of our brand.” David continues, “Now our opening date is fast approaching, Stylists can’t wait to get back out on the salon floor and our Owners are looking forward to expanding their existing businesses. There’s so much more to come for Just Cuts in the UK this year. Our nationwide reopening on the 4th July is the first celebration of many - just watch this space.” If you are currently preparing the salon for reopening at the beginning of July then check out the resources available regarding safety and regulations guidelines click here
