Josh wood to open second salon in liberty

Acclaimed colourist, Josh Wood, is set to open a second salon inside historical London department store, Liberty.

Atelier Liberty will be the shop's first hair salon, located on the third floor overlooking Carnaby Street.

The space will add to the Atelier Salon in London's Notting Hill, which Josh opened with his business partner, Lorraine O'Brien, last year.

Features at the salon will include the global debut of Wella Professional's Illumina Light Bar, which will enable the salon to modify natural daylight to provide colourists with the optimum working environment.

The salon will also boast many of the same features of the original atelier including iPods loaded with clients' personal playlists and a concierge who will record clients' preferences - from how they take their coffee to their preferred products.
