Jorgie porter is pretty in pink at westrow street lane salon

Jorgie Porter has a new baby pink hair hue, thanks to the talented team at the new Westrow Street Lane salon in Leeds. The Hollyoaks actress and two-time Dancing on Ice contestant was transformed at the hands of Jenny Pelter, technical colour director and co-owner of the Street Lane salon. Business partner Amy Lopez then finished the makeover with a fabulous blow-dry. To get the look, Jenny pre-lightened Jorgie's golden blonde locks with L’Oreal Professionnel Platinium Lightening Paste. A mauve toner was then applied to create a pearly, even colour. To create the pink Jenny used Majirel base 10 with a little bit of red mix tone. This was then applied all over the hair for a baby pink glow and more red was added to create a brighter pink for the ends of the hair. Amy finished Jorgie’s new look with one of her signature blow-dries and the actress left the salon with instructions to shampoo her hair using cool water and to use a tinted conditioner to maintain her newly coloured tresses. Jenny and Amy were thrilled to accommodate the actress and said: “It was lovely to have Jorgie at the salon. She is a trendsetter and fits our young and fresh dynamic. Hopefully her new hair colour will be a hit and attract many more fashionistas to the salon.”
