Co-washing has long been a favourite of curly girls as a means of keeping hair hydrated and healthy, and now the trend goes mainstream with Matrix Cleansing Conditioners.
Put simply, co-washing does away with shampoo to gently clean the hair and scalp with conditioner only. The aim is to reduce the use of the parabens and sulfates traditionally found in shampoo, which can strip the hair. It also conditions without weight - making it an ideal option for curly girls.
Although cleansing conditioners have been around for a little while, Matrix's decision to launch one is a first for the L’Oréal Professional Products Division - and is already a sell-out success in the States.
Matrix has taken the technology of cleansing conditioners and adapted it to suit all hair types - so whether your clients are fine, medium, coarse or curly, there's an option for them.
- Cleansing Conditioner Fine Hair contains citrus to get a squeaky clean finish with lightweight conditioning for a finished look that's shiny with anti-static control.
- Cleansing Conditioner Medium Hair features acai, which adds suppleness, bounce and optimum anti-frizz control.
- Cleansing Conditioner Coarse Hair contains avocado to smooth out the hair and add increased manageability to hard-to-handle hair.
- Cleansing Conditioners Curly Hair comes with pomegranate extract to define and enhance the natural bounce of curls.
