JOICO Launch Confident Classics Training Programme

Published 23rd Jan 2025 by Chlo Weldon

As every salon owner knows, training and education is paramount to the success of their team and to the growth of their business. In order to help hairdressers stay up to date with the latest education programmes, JOICO have created Confident Classics, a fundamental cutting system featuring nine classic haircuts along with complementary colour techniques all based on the principles of Line-Graduation-Layers. Launching in February 2025, with the focus being on square shapes, Confident Classics will continue to roll out in 2026 with triangular shapes and in 2027 with round shapes.

Confident Classics has been designed to provide accessible, affordable education that is available on a local level. No more travelling to out-of-town venues and a way to develop your skills in an ongoing programme. Each class features a variety of lengths which are styled in different ways providing attendees with invaluable skills that can be translated into their salon work, ensuring their clients stand out from the rest. With complementary salon friendly colour techniques which work to enhance the haircut, Confident Classics provides the perfect way to continuously update your skills.

JOICO Head of Education, Danielle Swartebroeckx explains: “Investing in upskilling yourself or your team is crucial to stay on top of your game and is very relevant in today’s competitive market.”

Education is at the very heart of what JOICO do. With confident Classics, JOICO is not only providing inspirational education cutting and colouring sessions but also providing a complete package which includes:

  • A digital philosophy webinar that allows participants to refresh knowledge on the fundamentals of haircutting and colouring in a fun and interactive way.
  • Easy to follow step-by-step tutorials.
  • Compact education workbooks.
  • Certificate that allows you to showcase your training achievements within your salon.
