John macpherson launches london studio

John MacPherson has opened his first salon in London; a studio space just off Portobello Road. Scottish-born John honed his skills in South Africa before heading to London in 1998, where he has since developed an enviable celebrity client list including Kings of Leon, Courtney Love and super-stylist Rachel Zoe. With a desire to open a new salon space that offered his clients something fresh, bespoke and ultra-private, John opted for a warehouse space in West London that he has transformed into a sleek, chic studio. An all-white interior and streaming natural light add to the feeling of space, while ambient music and short films projected onto the wall keep things cool and cosy. As well as acting as a UK base for his clients, the space will also offer John a creative blank canvas to trial ideas for his regular editorial work for record companies, fashion labels and international fashion magazines.
