Eugene Souleiman and the Wella Professionals team created individual surfer-girl styles for the Jeremy Scott Spring/Summer 2015 collection.
The show: Jeremy Scott Spring/Summer 2015
The hair team: Eugene Souleiman and the Wella Professionals team
The look: Individual looks for each girl, inspired by a day at the beach - hidden braids and random crimped sections throughout windswept locks. Some girls also had hair accessories - designed by Miley Cyrus, no less.
The inspiration: Surf culture and hair that's been styled by the sun and sea after a day at the beach. "Each girl had a unique look which was adapted to suit her individual style," said Eugene. "Although the overall theme remained the same, we gave each girl a quirk in her hair style; a hidden braid, or a random crimped section; just something to set them apart."
The key product: Wella Professionals Ocean Spritz
Get the Look
1. Wash and condition hair using Wella Professionals Brilliance Shampoo and Conditioner.
2. Roughly dry the hair, turning the head the head upside down and blasting the roots to create volume.
3. Once the hair is dry, work with the hair to create a raw, textured feeling by spraying the hair with Wella Professionals Ocean Spritz to give a dry, matte finish.
4. Take sections of hair and create any selection of the following:
• Random sections of crimped hair. Using crimping irons through various lengths of the hair to provide points of interest.
• Fine thin braids at the back or front of the head. Using a fine tooth comb, back comb the end of the braid and spray with Wella Professionals Stay Essential Finishing Spray to secure the braid without elastic.
• Medium thick braids, spray with Wella Professionals Stay Essential Finishing Spray, apply heat with hair dryer and diffuser, then unbraid for a beachy texture.
5. On all looks, massage through the crown of the head with fingers for a full, fly-away, textured finish.
