The Great Scot Business Award was presented to Jennifer, who started her company with a £2,000 loan from her father. Her business empire has grown into a multi-million pound concern, incorporating not just seven successful salon and an academy, but also a property company.

Jennifer also appeared on the Channel 4 show The Secret Millionaire last year, going undercover in a struggling Welsh mining village.
