Jennifer aniston's 'rachel' still tops the popularity polls
Remember back in the 90s when the regulars of Central Perk were everyone's favourite Friends and everyother woman was sporting the hideous two-tier monstrosity* (it's my blog, so I can give my opinion) that was the Rachel?
Well, it turns out that 'do was the most popular celeb hair cut of all time. A recent survey by hair accessory company Goody found that some 11 million women requested the look.
The survey quizzed some 3,000 women on the celebrities they take their hair inspiration from and here are the five front runners:
- Jennifer Aniston's aforementioned 'Rachel' do
- Meg Ryan's 'When Harry Met Sally' shaggy cut was oh! oh! oh! so popular
- Dannii Minogue's versatile bob that wowed the X Factor crowds
- Victoria Beckham's infamous 'pob' that marked the end of her WAG days
- Princess Diana's 'Sloney-chic' crop
* Please note that I may have been particularly harsh about the 'Rachel', but I'm not the only one. When we quizzed a bunch of top hairdressers about the celeb hairstyle they most wished hadn't caught on, hers was a name that came up time and time again.
