Jay jays honoured for their bridal work

Julie Lewis and Sadie Millard of Jay Jays in Bristol have scooped the Bride and Bride’s Mother category in a National Hairdressers Federation competition. The pair have a passion for wedding work and it was the third successive year that salon owner Julie has won the accolade, while Sadie also won the Bride's Mother hair category. Further success stories that completed a successful night for the Jay Jays team at the Redcliffe Hotel in Paignton, Devon included: 2nd place: Leanne Strawford for Fantasy Event 3rd place: Sadie Millard for Ladies Colour, Cut and Finish 3rd place: Leanne Strawford for A night for Strictly Come Dancing 3rd place: Holly Lewis and Becki Blakeley for Bride and Bride’s Mother’s hair "Bridal work is a huge part of our business in both of our Bristol-based salons and we love competition work, so to have the opportunity to combine both bridal with competition work was great fun and to come away with first prize and a clutch of other places was fantastic." says Julie.
