Jason miller donates original artwork in aid of hair & beauty charity

This is a rare treat for one lucky person to own a unique piece of stunning original artwork by the award-winning Jason Miller. Curve, on canvas, is a combination of plaster, paint, and linen. Framed with a floating edge it measures 134cm square. A real statement and focal piece for any home or salon.
Jason says: “The idea was to create a 3D texture that has the look and feel of a stone wall that’s been carved into a curve. Over the years I have experimented in a lot of different mediums. The process and application of this work is akin to preparing hair, wigs, and hair pieces for a hair show; it’s split into sections and built up to create a finished shape.”
He continues: “My artworks would complement modern interiors and work environments, and they are currently on show in our salons, in bespoke galleries, in the homes of friends and family, and in my own home. I’m delighted to be donating this work to the Hair & Beauty Charity and hope it finds a happy home.”
Jason is Joint Managing Director of Charlie Miller Salons Edinburgh and is regarded as one of the UK’s most influential hair designers with a consistent quality, style, and energy at the leading edge of hairdressing. He is proud to have exhibited his paintings in Edinburgh’s Open Eye Gallery, Arusha Art Gallery, and Gallery 10.
He is holder of numerous industry honours including a place in HJ’s British Hairdressing Awards ‘Hall of Fame’ and has received the AIPP ‘Grand Trophy’ and ‘Best Avant Garde Fashion Collection’.
Session work has included ‘heading the looks’ at the MTV Europe Music Awards and has tended to the tresses of A-listers including Tilda Swinton, Joely Richardson, America Ferrera, Charlize Theron, Elizabeth Rohm, Irina Shayk, Bar Refaeli, Kirsty Hume, Jodie Kidd, and David Guetta.
Bids can be made for Curve at the Hair & Beauty Charity website and the reserve price is £2,500.
