Jamie's british hairdressing awards nominations!
I've had some fantastic news.. On Thursday morning I received my long anticipated British Hairdressing Awards entry resutls... I have been nominated for all three categories! London, Men's and Afro. I'm ecstatic and can't wait for the finals!! I really didn't expect to get through in all three, roll on November!
Irecently spent a fantastic day with the brand new Clubstar Artistic Team justbefore they did their first show at a members' night for L'Oreal. I spent allday mentoring them on their stage presentations and models. They are a reallytalented group of people and I love working with them. Their show was one ofthe highlights of the evening.
On Friday I had my exciting TV debut on ITV's This Morning! I got there superearly to prepare for the makeover. It was great to meet the whole team and theyall made me feel really welcome. I have done Myleen Klass's hair a couple oftimes before so it was lovely to see a familiar face! I was so nervous as thewhole thing is live so there is no room for mistakes but luckily it all wentreally well and the lady was thrilled with her hair. I can't wait to be backnext week!
I took a trip to a massive shopping centre in Taunton during the week. They areholding a big catwalk fashion show and have asked me to be the hairdresser,which of course I am thrilled about. I had a lovely meeting with thephotographer and the designers; it is taking place on 25th of September so ifyou are in the area make sure you pop down!
