Jamie meets some colour masters

I've been as busy as ever these last few weeks! On Sunday I had my final meeting with my photographer for my new collection. I went through 30 different moodboards and numerous meetings and now I've finally made my decision. I had three castings this week; one for London models, one for afro models and one for male models.

On Monday I was asked to do a Colour Master day for Matrix. Thirty people had and they had all been invited back for a day at L'Oreal and I was the surprise hairdressing icon so I had to talk about myself! We talked to the attendees about the history of hairdressing, then went through colour predictions and trends and taught the students how to relay that information back to clients in a way they would understand. In the afternoon, we did a mood board session teaching them how to put them together for a shoot and a show. They then went off and created their own mood boards, they presented it to us and we gave them feedback.

Afterwards I drove down to Somerset to have dinner with my mum and dad before heading to the salon for a staff meeting and a full day of clients. I also had some great meetings with local radio stations about doing some agony aunt phone-ins on hair.

Then it was off to Kettering and Great Yarmouth to do the fourth make-over for Gok's Fashion Fix and today I am in Kettering doing the fifth. I'm off back to Errol's tomorrow and then I'm flying to Dublin on Saturday to do a big show for Matrix Biolage in the Hilton. I'm really looking forward to it!
