Jack-Lawrence.jpg Jack Lawrence of Clipso London has been selected to become an L'Oreal Professionnel ID Artist. Jack was hand picked by L’Oréal Professionnel to work together and be trained on the latest catwalk looks, new cuts, and new products in order to then become an ambassador for L’Oréal Professionnel’s styling name tecni.art and be able to train and inspire their peers, as well as their customers. Entry is by invitation to audition only, and the young stylists have 5–10 minutes to present a mood board of their ideas and a finished model demonstrating their colour, cut and styling skills, and to talk about the products and techniques they used to achieve the look. Jacks confident presentation stood him in good place for the position. Jack will now attend a two-year ID Artists programme, which will include training courses with celebrity session stylist Rudi Lewis at the L’Oréal International Academy in central London. Rudi will show the latest looks hot off the catwalk as well as demonstrating which L’Oréal Professionnel tecni.art styling products to recreate these looks. Jack and other ID artists then go out and present these looks and cuts at 'Style Labs' around the country where other stylists can attend and learn about the latest looks for this season. Darren Fowler, director of Clipso London, concludes "I’m very proud of Jack’s invitation to become an ID Artist. The competition is very tough and even to be asked to enter is a big achievement in itself. "These next two years will be an exciting time for Jack and he’ll receive priceless education and development. Everyone in the Clipso group is behind Jack and are keen to hear all his thoughts on upcoming trend directions."
