Halley Brisker and the L'Oreal Professionnel team created half-tied ponytails for the J JS Lee Spring/Summer 2015 show at London Fashion Week.
The show: J JS Lee Spring/Summer 2015
The hair team: Halley Brisker for L'Oreal Professionnel
The look: A half-tied ponytail, secured with a swatch of fabric from the collection.
The inspiration: Girls doing their hair at home before heading out, tying their hair up with whatever they can find.
The key product: L'Oreal Professionnel Tecni.Art Liss Control
Get the Look
1. Hair was prepped with L'Oreal Professionnel Tecni.Art Liss Control, which was blow-dried in the hair sparingly using a soft brush to create control and a crisp, clean feeling.
2. Hair was then brushed back into a ponytail placed at the middle of the head, but low down.
3. Hair was then pulled through the elastic twice, with the ends left out as though the girl hadn't finished tying it up.
4. The formed bun was then stitched down at the bottom, so it sits flat against the head - this step could be left out if recreating in the 'real world'.
5. A strip of fabric from the collection was then tied on in a bow.
6. A blusher brush was then wet down with Tecni.Art Pli and brushed over the hairline to control flyaways.
