Ireland and italy crowned winners at wella trend vision

Wella Trend Vision saw Ireland and Italy take home the Platinum awards in Color Vision and Creative Vision at the 2016 event in Barcelona, with the UK named bronze for Color Vision.

More than 40 countries took part in the competition, which saw 80 competitors recreate their interpretation of the 2016 trends, Molton Ecaille and Bronde Luxe.

The competition was a culmination of inspiration throughout the day, which saw shows by Sassoon Academy and HOB Salons, as well as the reveal of the 2017 trends, Ultra Contouring and New Form.

This year the event was streamed live, with more than seven million hairdressers tuning in online.
