The Schwarzkopf Professional Young Artistic Team 2015 has been announced, with six new superstars selected to spend a year boosting their education.
The talented six were chosen after a day showing off their work at the ASK Academy in London, with each finalist asked to cut and style a pre-coloured model. As well as being quizzed about their work during the transformation, each aspiring YAT member also had to present their finished look to a panel of judges.
Judges, including ex F.A.M.E Team member
Ellenora Dean from Percy & Reed, HJ's British Colour Technician of the Year
Clayde Baumann, creative director of Real Hair Andy Smith and HJ's online editor Rachael Gibson, had a tough job whittling down the finalists, but a final six were selected after hours of deliberation.
The 2015 YAT can look forward to an exciting year, including the opportunity to put together their own photoshoot, training from Schwarzkopf's renown ambassadors, stage presentations and a wealth of education sessions. They will be led for the year by YAT manager Catherine Adams.
Catherine says: "I am over the moon to be mentoring the Young Artistic Team again this year. It's going to be a brilliant year for every single one of us and I feel like we are ready to hit the ground running and make the most of the invaluable opportunities that YAT offers."
