framesi-crop.jpgWhile it may be new to the UK, Milan-based Framesi has more than 65 years of experience within the hair industry. It's the third largest colour house in Italy, after L'Oreal and Wella, and its commitment to high quality professional colour means that it's used by hairdressers in 87 countries worldwide.

Founded in 1945, Framesi originally sold products that ranged from talcum powder to brilliantine. The company branched into professional colour in 1970, offering salons the chance to 'colour the Italian way'.

Then came the launch of 'Italian Style Framesi', a department that studied the latest trends in order to create hairstyle collections and provide salons with exciting new styles. This concept continues today, with new cuts, colours and hairstyles being launched every six months, alongside educational courses and material.

Quality remains at the forefront of Framesi's beliefs and every product must pass a minimum of 65 conformity tests before it is produced in any of the 10 Framesi manufacturing plants around the world.

By the 1990s, Framesi was working alongside top research institutes and prestigious Italian Universities to supply independent research that could be used to support Framesi's product claims and also helped enhance its products even further.

Today, Cosmetologists work with over 600 ingredients to create products of the highest possible standards and capabilities. Quality remains at the forefront of Framesi's beliefs and every product must pass a minimum of 65 conformity tests before it is produced in any of the 10 Framesi manufacturing plants around the world.

Framesi is now used in 87 countries worldwide ranging from Europe to the United States and Canada, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Mexico and Tunisia plus, numerous Middle and Far Eastern markets. Each market enjoys Framesi's amazing salon education programme that helps develop and inspire hairdressers around the globe.

Framesi is now available in the UK from Aston & Fincher.
