In celebration of International Women's Day 2012, we've been asking fans of HJi on Facebook and Twitter which female hairdressers they admire the most.
According to HABIA, 90% of the hairdressing industry is made up of women, which means there are plenty of names to choose from - ranging from icons like Annie Humphreys and Ann Herman to newer names like Sacha Mascolo-Tarbuck and Lisa Shepherd.
Here are some of your favourites...
Blo Hair: Sally Brooks she is not only lovely person but a master at her craft !!! X

Kayleigh Danielle Dixon: Just gonna throw it in there... Sharon Peake... BHA Hall of Fame winner 2011, always nails the NW category with new and innovative ideas, as well as being the owner of two successful salons, splitting her time between each.
